What is the stock chain on the 03 CBR 600RR? I was looking at the chain today, and it said DID 525 HV. Is this stock? I checked out their website, and it lists the chain under their "Superbike Series" and it only lists the 900RR and the VTR1000.

So i'm not sure if this is stock, and if it isn't, is their an advantage with this chain? Does this mean my bike has a sprocket or or anything, cause of a chain conversion? I was just curious about this cause the previous owner didn't mention a new chain and/or a sprocket, and i didn't know this came stock.

Yes they have a 525 chain stock. So you can buy any brand 525 chain you would like.

To change to a 520 or 530 chain you would need to change sprockets.
