Default Windows dont roll down or up, but I can hear the motor going

exactly as thread title reads. When I try to roll down the windows, i can hear the window motor, but the window wont roll down one bit. Is replacing the motor costly and what's the work involved. Or is there something else to this problem.

Thanks

window musta fell of the track, you'll have to take the door panel (inside) off and then you'll be able to see whats going on inside.

To take it apart it should be some screws inside the inside handle and a couple other misc. places on the door panel. Then it's just some plastic push in's that hold it on, so just put a screwdriver behind the door panel and use it like a lever and pop the panel off the door.

good luck, let us know if you need more help

Yeah thats what the problem is, i had that problem about a year ago. It was a bitch b/c you dont have that much room to work in. I scratched up my hands pretty bad b/c it was too hard to do it with gloves on. You can do it though.

It probably is the window regulator, not the motor. I went to an independant auto window shop, and they order an Honda OEM regulator, and they replaced it at a cheaper labor rate than the dealer. They did it for about $250 (parts and labor).
