Salvage Titled s2000
How much do salvage titled S2000's generally go for? Not sure if anyone knows for sure, but i am curious because i am interested in using the drivetrain for another project. Thanks in advance.
anywhere from half to 3/4 of what the sale prices are of regular titled cars- depending on condition and repairs made- keep in mind that some banks may not loan money for a salvage title

is it really that high for like a t-bone wreck? I thought it would be lower, that is actually surprising.

It really depends on where you are as well...if your in an area where the parts would be very sought after, it is entirely possible that even totalled with salvage title for parts it would cost a good grip of cash...somewhere that the car is less sought after may yield a much lower price...thing is though, like most sport oriented honda's, people watch these cars like ambulance chasers to ****** them up and grab their parts when they are yanked from accident scenes and the insurance companies are finished with their work. If the drivetrain is all your looking to use, you are probobly better off just looking for that by itself...probobly cheaper, and a little easier to find than a totalled salvaged S2000 that isnt picked apart already anyways.

the only thing is that it would be a full swap into a 1950 ****** jeepster, so having the gas tank, fuel pump and return system would be alot easier than making or buying my own, as well as having the rear diff and whatnot. Just seems like it would be alot easier with the whole car. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1251178

Do a google search for salvaged cars. A lot of places keep up-to-date online inventories with photos. That may track down just what you need as fas as complete undamaged drivetrains.
find it and if u can get it for cheap, it would be worth it. sell anything that u dont need. turn parts of the body into poles and have swordfights with it.
