i want to turbo my 95 integra Gs-R. What do i need to buy?
I don't mean to sound like a smart-***, but a Kit. Don't piece it together like I did. It ended up costing me more than buying a kit at once. You can find complete kits with EVERYTHING you need, or you can find cheaper kits that have the "main" components such as the manifold, turbo, downpipe, wastegate, and blow-off valve on ebay. I have heard a lot of people knock these however. If say, you were to get something like that, you will also need the oil lines (feed and return), charge pipes, intercooler (optional, but highly recomended), vaccuum lines/tees, and an FMU. I have a 95 LS and have pieced mine together buying piece by piece, and like I said before, it turned out to be more, however it was more convenient for me due to money issues. The previously mention items you will need, and I am just assuming that you have stuff like an FPR, full exhaust, and a good sense of mechanical know how already. Hope that helps!
As much as i hate to say it or at the risk of being a dick, have you looked through any of the archived threads or, dare i say, searched for any info?
1. The Turbo
2. The Blow off Valve...With Flange
3. Oil Feed/Return Lines (Also Get t Fittings)
4. Intercooler
5. Manifold With Gasket
6. Walbro 255 In Tank Fuel Pump
7. Fmu
8. boost gauge/air fuel gauge
Then when you get it installed have the shop custom make your intercooler piping and downpipe...But those are the basic parts you will need....also youll need a radiator depending on witch manifold is used...and little unforseen things here and there but they will include these... and piece together your turbo kit so...instead of dropping a **** load of money out ur account...you can get a piece weekly and bi weekly...(alot less stressful)..also ur stock injectors should be good for low boost
