Default H22 head port by sinister racing

What's up everyone, I just wanted to share some of the progress of the project that Justin at sinister has been helping me out with. Over the past couple months my car has gone through so much, but hopefully the end result shall be well worth it. Justin has agreed to back me up on a sponsorship to make all this happen. here are a couple pics of the head, after being ported.

all feedback is appreciated.

Port work is nice to look at and all but it doesnt really mean much. The valve job is where your going to find 85% of the heads ability to flow, bowl and short turn work make up for most of the rest.

It seems most of Honda-Tech is blinded by the bling

It's not a hog job, just cleaned up. We let the dyno and ET's speak for themselves.

just cuz its not done how a pro does it or how it should be done by the book doesnt mean it won't work. its obviously an experiment, so if the dood makes good power, then he has stumbled on something great. if it ends up sucking ****, who cares, in the end its just a head with a shitty port job. it's not like he claimed he is master head porter now or soemthing.

Rick wasn't hating. He was just bringing up the fact that you can't tell how a head will perform from simple pictures.

Wait wait wait, I think this is the comment that you meant to get pissed off about, right? Because this guy is just hating. A flowbench is great, but not everyone has one.

From what I hear, Justin from Sinister ports all his head's without a flow bench and regards himself as a great head porter.

I think the head looks ok.

Just curious what kind of power you guys are finding with some good portwork on the H22. We started this week on the H and the head is pretty damn good stock. It seems like the biggest improvement can come from the valves.

Your right, the head does flow very well stock. These H motors are pretty new to us but we are focusing on a different valve cut for my head to see how it performs. It's amazing the kinda power these motors put down in stock form, my stock internal usdm motor puts down 199/164 on a dynojet with 91 octane tuned by Justin. It will be interesting to see what a head job and cams will do. I have seen a couple H22's making power in the 235 range on a stock JDM shortblock.
