H&R Sport springs and what shocks ?
im thinking of dropping my car with the H&R Sport springs (1.75/1.5 front/rear)
now the question is, what shocks should i get ?
i was thinking koni ?
did a little research and found that koni yellows will make it even lower than 1.75/1.5 ?? if so, by how much ? also, at what dampening setting should the yellows be on to be able to correctly handle the springs without damaging the shocks ?
what about the koni reds ? i don't know too much about those, so edumacate me
how bout the agx's ? will those make the car even lower ? dunno much about those neither
i want to keep it right around 1.75/1.5, don't want to go TOO low ya know
also, any camber kit needed ? or would a toe alignment will do for the front ? what about the back ? i'v heard of adding washers ?

tokico blues or illuminas r good shocks tooo. with lifetime warranty! that or go with a full coilover suspension kit from tien or omni power
Also an excellent match for the H&R Sports are Bilsteins they are availavle in Heavy Dutys witch work in specific applications w/ H&R Sports and for the ones that dont Bilstein Sports are the way to go. No adjustments just awesome handling and durabilty.

I've been running H&R Sports and Tokico Illuminas on my '98 Integra RS since 1999. I've won several local championships in the STS class. I also run the stock front sway bar with a Comptech rear. 3 national champions have driven my car and told me not to change a thing because it's perfect as is. Very neutral with trailing throttle oversteer available when you want it. When it was weighed at the 2001 NE Divisional, the scale operator asked me where I had it corner weighted becauase they did a good job. He was shocked when I told him they were just lowering springs, not coil overs, and that the car had never been corner weighted. I always wanted coil overs but i'm so happy with this setup that I don't want to mess with success.
My H&R sports are noisy because I'm using stock shocks. I'm thinking if I throw some good performance shocks in there it will solve that problem, but I'm not 100%. I know it's a good idea anyway... just don't use the stock shocks.
Stock shocks won't last very long when subjected to lowering springs because they are not designed to work in that range of travel all the time. I'm doing it on my daily driven Civic right now but that's only because I got everything for free. The stock shocks from my Integra and hand-me-down Tokico springs. The ride is great and there is no noise but I wonder how long the shocks will last. Anything beats the combo of AroSpeed coilovers on blown AutoZone shocks that were in it when I got it!
