ITR catback on a EJ8 (pics?)
has anyone done this conversion? What modifications to the tubing will be needed? and also can somebody post some pics on how it would look? thanks in advance
because people charge like 100 bucks for just the muffler and why not just get the piping with it instead of spending another 200 for custom pipiing?
ummm i have tried something very similar..
i tried to put my friends 2000 integra GSR stock exhaust and muffler on my old 92 civic hatchback and the muffler was to big to fit w/ out a lot of modifications.. hope that helps you all..

up...^^^^^^^ how is the B pipe differant... ive heard it may be a little to short or long at the cat but the bends are the same???? is that correct?
I'll post a pic of mine tomorrow if i remember!
the b pipe needs extended, i think 3-4" and so does the the pipe after the muffler!
unless you can get the 4dr itr exhaust which will just bolt on I believe!

yes it does...
ok, here we go. ive had this setup for the past 2 years never a problem and everything fit fine. i only had to cut the flange on the cat due to still using my civic exhaust manifold.
d16z6 engine, oem exhaust manifold, to '99 integra ls cat, itr b pipe, to civic spoon n1 muffler
everything fit pefectly fine. i only had to cut and turn the cat flange to meet up with the civic hole placement. if i had a b series engine with an integra exhaust manifold then i wouldnt have to cut anything.
basically if you want to use the itr b pipe on any 92-95 civic you need to use an integra 17" long cat
all 92-01 civic and integra (ls, itr) b pipes are interchangible (as far as pipe fitting under the car).... the problem comes with the cat length. the obd2 integra cats are 17" long civic ones are 15". so its just a matter of choosing the correct combination to fit your 92-01 civic.
