i heard that u cant use the lca's for the rest of the dc models, and that the typeR ones are different, is this tru? id like to know before i go out and buy a pair...currently lookin at the Omni ones...are there other better brands out there?

You Heard Right......

 

Function7 has so many bad reports on the BBB... when i tried to deal w/ them for a set of LCAs months back they took forever and had to refund my money after 2 months and interaction from the BBB. as for the product i'm not sure about, since i never ended up getting them... but i know i'll never go to their site for another product.

 

A quick search under LCA in the ITR forum and you get 32 results.
