Exedy OEM replacement on eBay
Hey guys, I did a search but didn't find alot of replies from folks who have put some serious miles on this clutch.
I had bought one before for my civic with d16y8 in it, but only put about 3000miles on it before I sold the car, and bought a lude.
I am looking for a new clutch and was wondering if I should go the exedy route again as its cheap and seems pretty good on my civic. Only reason I am a bit hesitant as I read from one or two people that have had problems with the exedy OEM in their car and had to swap out the clutch after a short life span.
Any feedback from those who have had this clutch in for awhile?

Yup, exedy is a very good clutch. I have the stage 2 cerametallic in my 4th gen lude, and for the little time my car was running before I starting the rebuild, I was very happy with it.

Thats good to hear that exedy is a good clutch, I wonder if the problem that was mentioned was a fluke. I havn't really heard of any other bad things about the OEM replacement exedy on ebay.
thanks.
thanks.
i'm running the exedy oem from ebay. it grabs great, has good pedal feel and has no signs of wear and i've ran it for a year with about 15,000 miles so far. good clutch considering i got the whole package for $100

I just put one of these in my 93 lude and its great, no problems at all. I did buy my kit from clutch city online, but if you look at the ebay seller I bet its them. I just bought mine from them over the phone since I needed it in 2 days across the country.
