It looks so....new

Becareful with it and take that ****** to a track

Edit: Just noticed it's your first sportbike. Be careful on it for the first few thousand miles. We don't need to see you get over confident and make a bad mistake.

Damn I wonder what a 15.5 redline feels like, I've only ever been up to 9.5-10. Be safe man.

yeah, been riden for awhile, but first sport bike.

Its undescribable how much of a difference there is, 100+mph in no time.

The biggest thing i noticed is the insanity of the pull once you get even just over 5-6k rpms, insane pull. I am realyl super glad i didnt buy anything bigger, i think this will keep me satisfied for a long *** time.

Are you purposely ignoring the recommended break-in because you have a better plan, or are you just not concerned with such things... 100mph even in 6th puts you well over what rpm you should be at right now, and I"m going to take a wild guess and say it wasn't in 6th gear. Take a good hard look at your oil once you change it, which you should've done already if you haven't by now.

Just looking out, hate to see you need a motor soon

i broke my gixxer and my r6 in relatively hard and didn't keep it under 6k or whatever and they turned out fine. they might not be as "strong" as doing it the correct method, but they sure didn't die on me.

Besides running the risk of downright breaking parts early on, there is significant evidence that improper break-in (note: I'm not saying that the manufacturer's suggested is the only break-in, but it certainly isn't something to ignore) will result in a loss of power and engine life. It's your bike, so feel free to treat it however you'd like. I was just curious if there was a method to the madness.
