Default Calling it a career....

After alot of contemplation, ive decided to hang up my helmet and jacket, refocus my priorities and finish school. I figured with my very limited income and time it would be very difficult for me to compete on the level that i would like to. Ive been competing in all motor streetclass type races since the begining and have watched it grow to become one of the premeire classes at races. I have come to make many numerous friends in many places. Ive had so much fun meeting new people and learning about the sport

To sum up my very short career: i was the original driver of the what became the DTR FAB drag car. At the time i was 17 in years old (2001) my personal best was 11.72 @ 114 with a 1.8 ls/vtec in a 1750lbs race prepped chassis. I turned over the keys the race car when i went to college. My brother Danny would eventually build the engine and chassis program to drive the car deep into the 10 second territory

this is what the car looked like before we sold it......

Eventually i settled into the white 92 civic that i would campaign in the street class for the last 3 years.......here i was able to go to five straight final rounds @ battle of the imports and and NOPI. Unfortunately i was only able to win one of the five.....the best i was able to manage was 11.66 @ 115.5pmh

I wanted to thank my brother Danny Tran (DTRFAB) , even though he and i argued more than we race , he pushed my level of competition further and further and kept me in this sport long enough to make a name for myself.

LDL racing engines in Las Vegas, Nevada .....Dennis and Marissa who were like the parents i never had. Dennis Liongson is the genius that put his magic to each and everyone one of my motor.....I never had a problem with any of his engine build and without reserve recommend his services to anyone and everyone

Dave and all the Guys at DNR PERFORMANCE....Dave Nguyen who is one of the most self less people that i have ever met help me more than most people in the industry ever has.....He took numerous hours out of his personal time to help make my car faster.....

Derek Parris , The most gung ho crew chief that a racer could ever have.....I can honestly say with his level of preparation and attention to detail I was able to win round.....

this is a pic of my first streetcar back in 2001( one of norcals first 12 second street cars 12.70s at 107mph)

pic of the car at nopi arizona race.....

Ill will be around the scene still but i just wont be racing, if you guys have noticed ill have plenty of work to do once the RSX chassis is finish....Hopefully when i finish school and it becoms possible for me to compete again i will do so......

Thanks for everyone who took the time to take a look

Mad props to you and your crew!! You sound mature beyond your years. I wish you good luck in school and with the karma you have going for you, it won't be needed. With a screen name like Supernatural, most would have a hard time living up to expectations, but you seem to have done just that!!
