Default Koni with H&R Race or Eibach Sportline

hi, i have koni yellows, and i somehow got both Eibach sportline and H&R race springs for my prelude, and i don't know which ones better to use. i dont want to drop TOO much to ruin the warranty with konis, and also i dont want to rub aor scrape the bottom of my car. please help me choose one!

H&R, No real reason besides the fact that I am a fan of H&Rs quality and they are the brand I trust for springs.

Does anybody know the rates on the H&Rs? The Yellows are more dampener than needed on the Eibachs, but I don't know about the H&Rs.

pm vtecvoodoo and contact h&r directly and ask for their springrates. they both should be about the same. koni's will handle both of them without problem.

H&R race is much stiffer than the Sportlines. If it follows the same as for EGs they are one of the 2 highest rates found in ots springs. My problem with them is that they were too low. I ended up getting the Neuspeed Koni Yellows so that I could actually raise the perches and regain some suspension travel. I'm not sure whether the Prelude suffers from the same lack of travel or not but that's my experience.

I am currently dealing with this. I have 89 hatch with a b18b. I run jdm dc header. No I have koni sports and eibach sportlines. Started running them on the middle perch( my koni's have 5 perches). My car was slammed. Ruined my header in a week and pulling into work my wheels would rub my fenders. I have raised to highest perch in front and the nest lowest(of 5) in rear. Front of car is barely lowered and most of my bottomong out is gone and no rubbing at all. I was going to buy h&r race and put them on the highest perch. I think I would run into more bottoming out problems. My car has the worst header clearence a honda has. good luck. Does using a different perch affect anything other than height? Any change on rates or anything? I think the eibachs SUCK. Useless with koni shocks. Get h&r sorts in my opionon. Have them on another car and they are great, unless you want to track it, but them the word eibach would even be in this post. just my experiences. I figure there is only one choice for me. ground controls. good luck.. I deff did not vote for eibachs

i got my koni and H&R installed (MIDDLE PERCH), but im not really satisfied with the heights i can put 3 and 1/2 of my fingers into the front gap and about 2 in the back. i was expecting them to lower my more than that. is there anything that could be the reason why it didnt drop a lot, or is that the correct height?

You put the lowest spring we had in a car w/ poor header clearance and added an extra 150lbs w/ a swap. What did you expect?

I am running H&R race with koni yellows on the lowest perch....with the konis at full stiff. It is low but handles really well, I can take turns and out maneuver most cars equipped with full coilover setups
