Default Girl problems help!

Hi everyone. Im new to the forum and am in need of help ASAP! I just put in a b16 in my honda and can't seem to get it started. My starter, which is brand new, just won't seem to turn over, all i hear is clicking sounds? any idea boys?

Ohh.. i get it. Check for fuel and spark first. Check your wiring, are you throwing any codes?

i know exactly what your problem is. Its one - three of the ground cables arn't connected. Connect them tight and check back.

or take the starter to a autozone or equivalent whatever you have outthere and have them test it. Just because its new it doesnt mean it'll work for sure.

I had that problem it was a ground.

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM IN A CRX WHEN DID A B SERIES SWAP............HAD TO USE THE GROUNDS FROM A 91 INTEGRA

First thing I would check is see if the battery is charged enough..
jump the car and see if it starts..

battery is good bc i tried jumping it. and i think the grounds are good. the only ones i know of is the one that connects from the starter to battery, the one from the valve cover to car, and the one from battery to tranny. are there any more? gosh i wanna run the car so bad

make sure to have the thermostat ground, that was part of my problem when i did my swap.

well by jumping it i mean connecting jumper terminals from another car directly to my battery terminals, bypassing my battery completly

oh god how about you compression start it. roll/push car in neutral, shift into 2nd gear and pop clutch and see if it starts

Oh ok, try hammering the starter solenoid while someone turns the key.
