Because its not JDM, I have a momo carbon/kevlar race seat and momo wheel, no problems, The seat is extremely light. As far as popularity? Everyone wants the latest and greatest, Bride, Mugen, Spoon. not some old Italian stuff That my guess

I have a MOMO 1000 Lakes seat and I love it. It fits me perfect and I got it at a great price!

MOMO isn't popular 'cuz it's make in Italy and not JDM.

[edit] Oh I forgot... also have MOMO Race wheel. Very nice quality. Besides, MOMO makes Spoon steering wheels anyway (plus many factory steering wheels in high end European cars). [/edit]

MOMO = from me.

I have 2 momo rookie seats and think they are very good for the price. However if you are over 5'11" and like 180lbs, it will be tight.

Them steering wheels look pritty straight... I was thinking of getting one, but having no air bag makes me think twice.
