anyone know of another place besides showstoppers usa to get a usdm type r front lip and sideskirts for the ep3?or are they about the cheapest? I searched around the sponsors market with no luck.. any help would be appreciated..

 

SSUSA is the cheapest I've seen.

yeah, I want the real deal too. I have the usdm one, it fits good, but doesn't look quite the same. I'd buy the jdm one..but they all come painted either red, white, or black...no silver

Or is it a JDM replica front lip made to fit the US bumpers?

My mugen replica front lip fits perfect..

But if you got the $$$ then go for the real ****.

Thanks guys! I got the Lip from Chuck and Rocky at ShowstoperUSA $150-$170 Shipped, but i think it's $150. I'm rolling on Rota C8 215/45/16 Falken Azenis RT215 with H&R Springs 2inch all around sitting on Tokicko HP blue, SPC full camber kit, e-bay rear strut bar and neuspeed front strut bar.


Btw- If you're planning to go with the Mugen Rep. front lip you should get the Buddy Club sides instead of the R, cause the buddy club is lower than the type R sides, so it looks a little better when it hang lower with the Mugen lip.

 

ya im lookin at the c8's in bronze, i havent decided what suspension set up to go with, i was looking into the mugen SS but i don't know if the drop would be sufficent enough going with 16's to take up most of the wheel gap, or have to go with a bigger rim. I also don't want to get too low b/c of scraping and camber issues.. do you scrape or rub at all? and was the camber kit an easy install?

Sounds like H&R or Neuspeed springs Should fit your needs on this one.... camber kit is not even that hard to install.. go to ephatch.com and there should be ALOT of info for you to know. NO scrape or Rub at ALL here...

 

how much for the c8's, and whats the location? with the H&R set up would 17's be too big, i mean with a 2 inch drop do you think it would rub? one of my friends has a set up bronze 17" enkei RS7's that i thought about picking up, hell give me a really good deal... and was ur suspension set up including the camber kit under a 1k..?

17s is not too big, but it will rub(ONLY the back ) if you have 215/45/17 with 2 inch drop. I say this cause it happen to me before and i have to roll my quater panle to make it not rub... I learn the hard way. Struts, camber kit and springs= under 1k.

 

what other struts do they make for the ep besides the tokico, and hows the ride on them compared to stock? and with a 2 inch drop would the stock struts blow out?

 

Do it the right way and just get struts and springs at the same time. Your stock strut will be blowen less than a year or maybe even 6 months, it all depends on the road that you're on daily..

 

why not just get like tien coliovers then

So I have a question, has anyone installed a EU/UK Mugen Front lip on a US Bumper? I was told cutting for the vents but it just wont fit completely, like I can get one side on but when I try to push the other side in, it just won't sit. I tried cutting the bumper to go longer to see if I can get the inner grooves to match and I still need like 2 inches more to get the lip to go around the end.

 

Try Ebay? Fitment wont be the best but im sure you will find some for the USDM ep3 bumpers
