Im going to be going to Florida in a couple of months and im not sure what kinda bike i want. my last bike was a 99' 900RR and i like Honda so i was thinking about getting a 05' 1000RR. please i don't want to hear all the crap about a 1000 being too big, take your bs elsewhere. moneys not the issue here, but i don't like European bikes. so i was thinking may just getting a 954 and waiting for Honda to revamp the 1000RR i a year or 2 what do you think?

 

Well I know my next bike is going to be a liter bike. And if I had a choice it would either be a 954rr or a rc51. Both are sweet bikes

If I were in the market for a new liter bike, I would take a Raven R1 hands down. So ******* sexy.

 

I was thinking about getting one of those but thats my girlfriends bike, i dont want to get the same bike as her.

 

If you want a Honda in the liter area or so, look for a leftover 04 1000rr. You can still get leftover 954's for pretty short money too; they were going for 8800otd in CA so I imagine it would be less as far as the rest of the country goes...If moneys not the issue, I'll pm you my paypal address.

R1 thats about all they are, sexy . go with the 954. the RC51 are alot heavier than the 954 or the 1000RR. what ever it is id stay with Honda.

I heard that RC's are very uncomfortable for street use. Keep that one in mind. But other than that. I love those bikes!!!!!

 

They have had three of these go through the local dealer (that I know of) silver, green and orange, and I would love to own one some day:

 

GSX-R1000 or Hayabusa if you don't mind the added weight.

 

1000RR is fking HOT..i'd get that or the gixxer 1000 if i was in the market for a liter bike.

r1 ravens are about 12k out the door here in fl. i have seen several leftover 954 on sale for 8k in the southeast regions autotrader.

 

i think im going for a 954!!!

1. R1
2. Gixxer
3. Kawi
4. Honda

I think for over all comfort/everyday, the Gixxer would be the best. Then the R1. For all out power, I think the Gixxer put out 160hp to the wheels. What does a Hayabusa put out?

 

arent hondas a little heavier, but have sturdier frames?

 

my next bike will be a newer gsxr 1000 or zx-10r... but my 954 suits me well enough for the next couple years

The gixxer is definately the most comfortable and the new 1000's are fawking sexy. (besides that gay *** pipe).

i was just taking my last final and there was the most NASTY Litespeed roadrace bike in the room; easily a 6k+ pedal bike....cf forks, wheels, rear frame, EVERYTHING!!!

 

You could always buy MY 954!!
