Pics from this weekend's project, rightfully dubbed "black and tan"
Well i dreaded and looked forward ot this weekend. Getting rid of the poo mang shoo from my interior and replacing it with some sleek blackness.
The install went pretty smooth, had its fair share of cussing and swearing and i hope ill never have to do it again but we got it in, every little thing, from the sunroof door to the door sills to the rug and the freshly wired audio, and even better- all the dash controls works. Needless to say there were some casualties, namely, the controls for my headlights and wipers
but the replacement is already enroute!
And of course, i now love my honda more than evar

Look at this, i didnt get black seat with the interior so 1 hour and 5 cans of interior spray later....tan becomes black
and what youve all been waiting for:
Special thanks to CNYEJ1 for his black coupe interior which i thought would be impossible to find!

did you sand it down or just spray on it? how many coats?

hey
The interior is not painted first of all- idk what made u guys think that as i never say i painted the interior anywhere.... the interior is a stock black interior from H-T member CNYEJ1 (as stated in my post).
The only thing "painted" is the rear seat, ashtray, and pass. side pow. window switch.
I think the rear seat came out GREAT for a $20 fix (as opposed to $100+ rear bench on ebay).
Anyway im letting the rear seat dry overnight before re-install.
Yes, the front seats are hideous, but i got a pair for megans racing front seats on the way, they will be here monday so the tan fronts are temp. so i can drive the car at least.
With THAT said, now what do you think ?
