Default obd0 to 0bd1????

just trying to help a friend out here. hes got a jdm b16 that he would like to swap into his 91 hatch si

for those of u that have done this swap, how did u go about converting it to obd 1???

oh and he doesnt have a distributor, does he need to buy a jdm unit or can he just get any b series dist??

locashracing.com sells distributors but you can get a jumper for the distributor obd0-obd1 and hasport.com sells the jumper plugs for the computer, they also make harnesses

my set up: LoCash jumper, engine harness, distributor plugs, & resistor pack "delete"...and a distributor from Distributor King...OBD1 with VTEC is the one you need...not just any b-series. Also...4-wire O2 sensor. Hope this helps.

to be more exact, you need a TD-44U Distributor and getting it from Rywire.com is cheaper than distributor king $235 shipped.

...that's the right distributor...um...I don't know if it's cheaper than DistKing, though...I got mine for 220shipped
