Once again.....Idle/stalling problems
I own a 1990 civic hatch, D-15 engine, 213,000 on it.
Recently rebuilt, head redone due to 3 burnt valves, new #3 piston due to scoring, honed all cylinders, new rings on all pistons.
Also, new fuel filter, new plugs, new wires, new dist. cap, and new rotor, also new PCV.
If I run the car for 15-20 minutes at idle, it has a few hiccups here an there almost to the point of stalling. However, it catches itself, and continues to run.
Now, if I drive the car, it will idle rough at stop signs, and stall out if I do not keep the idle up. It runs fine on the highway, but when I get on the off ramp, and stop, it will stall again.
The throttle body has been cleaned, and there are no codes, of check engine light.
As for vacuum leaks, all the hoses are hooked up, and I can not hear any leaks.
Could the timing be off a little? Or would the valves needing readjusting help?
I hear about a IACV....I don't see one on my car.
HELP!!!!!!!! this is my daily commuter car...60 miles/day!
And it smells as if it is running rich......

check your timing, check to make sure timing belt was installed properly, compression test, valve lash adjustment and make sure your fpr reg vac hose is hooked up, good luck
