I ordered a set of poly inserts for the side mounts on my ef. When I saw that the front was torn, I was able to use two of the inserts to fill in the torn mount. But now I have mad vibration at idle in the car.

You might want to find an oem front mount, and fill it with the window sealeant stuff to prevent it from tearing again.

My front mount was gone also so i used that 3M window sealant polyurethane and filled in the stock tranny mount, drivers side mount, and rear mount ... 1000+ miles later and no problems so far knock on wood

you DO NOT need the mount.....if u feel that ur engine is bubbling around under there then get motor mount inserts....and if u feel ur motor is still bouncing around then ur just on some heave drugs

This is the e mail I got from Jim about 3 and half weeks ago when I ordered mine.
hello

thanks for your questions.

the front mount fits the stock D-series or zc motor. we now make them to order so they come unpainted and may take 3-5 days to get made before they get into the mail. the mount goes for $45 shipped with usps 2-3 day service.

please let me know how i can help.

thanks again-jim

yea i emailed him and he said that they had put the mount on the "sideline" for a while

to the people that say that you do not need to run the mount

i can visibly watch the engine in my car move forwards and backwards when i let the clutch out i can also feel it in the drivetrain the wheels move laterally when i let the clutch out i filled the front mount with window weld and it solved it for about a day then it tore again

i have filled my side mounts with window weld and im pretty sure that my rear mount is still in decent shape

doesnt mugen offer a full mount kit?

Yeah you dont need it if your running the *rattle your f@in brain out mounts* from Hasport or place racing. If you have any oem mounts at all, you need the front.

And negative Mugen does not make them. maybe once upon a time, but no more, the EF's are but a spec of dust in the eyes of Mugen nowadays.
