Re-paintin interior of the CRX
my crx interior looks all fugly due to the fact that the previous owner tried to repaint the blue interior with black, and he didn't even sand it down before painting lolz...so paint is chippin
when i talk about the interior i mean the section in the back, behind the seats...not where the dashboard is
anywho, so should i just sand the interior down then what kind of paint should i use? (spray can, regular paint, etc?)
any useful advice would be sweet

I really wouldn't reccomend painting an interior. Especially twice...Why not look for a scrap car with a black interior and use it. Costs a little, but leaves you with no problems in the future.

Thanks for the backup! It should have never been painted in the first place. My buddy has a 96 EK 4dr that he painted...then spent a couple grand looking for stock parts again. It may look nice for awhile, but it won't be that way unless is it professionally done (but I still find it ugly as hell)

Here is a few wise tips I used krylon fusion paint on number of cars it works okay but works really good on plastic vynl its a little to soft of a surface. at My work dealership we got some reallllllly good stuff it is paint but works realllly good scratch resistant etc. Just go to honda and ask about it, its oem interior and plastic paint.
I painted the interior of my old car black and it was maroon originally. It has been over 2 years now and it still looks mint (I see my old car all the time). Never chipped/Peeled nothing. It's all in how you do it. Prep Work/Special paint and it works wonders.

was just looking at this https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1240916 and someone mentioned soaking the pieces in brake cleaner overnight and wiping off...possibly try that to get back to stock.
