Hey I was wondering what everyone thinks about this exhaust setup I am going to get. Since my old exhaust is pretty much pure rust and the header on the new engine won't match up (and I didn't get a down pipe either) I am just going to get a full exhaust setup.

I am thinking about getting full stainless 2.5" exhaust from Kteller... Rage h22 SS header, flex pipe, carsound cat, piping, resonator, and magnaflow dual 2.5" tip muffler (all SS and all 2.5 the whole way). I am hoping for a relatively sleeper look and a good note. Do you think this setup is good?

Also, I was wondering about a couple other things. Should I bother getting flanged cat and the merge collector?

Where does the flexpipe go in that exhaust setup? Would I have it placed on the cat and the end of the downpipe, some where along the down pipe (near the end of it like most other headers do), or between the downpipe and the header? I guess the guy I am going to have weld this all together would know best, but I would prefer to specify just incase.

How long of a resonator should I get? I don't really care about ride comfort and my friends GTP (before he sold it) had no resonators in it and was very tolerable sounding for me. Should I even get a resonator?

Sounds like a nice setup to me. I've never heard that muffler before, but I'd venture a guess and say you won't need the res, unless you are trying to keep it fairly quiet.

and most of the do it yourself piping kits like the kteller that i have ever heard in the past have sounded like ***.....the guys with the 2.5 kits and the es oval muffler sounded sooo bad....

not to **** on kteller, i have never heard his piping with a good muffler as of yet.....

at least one resonator is usually good, my car is loud enough with one......
