Default mini me details

hello all.. my friend just bought a 91 crx si.. its got a blown head gasket but the car is mint..not bad for 500 bucks..(black si)... anyway he's got a sohc v tec head from a 92 ex.. y8? anyway hes wanting to do a mini me swap..what does this include exactly?

im guessing the fuel map isnt the same with the pm5 ecu not being v tec.. converting to obd-1 is to much of a pain. i know theres a way around this..please advise..lol

also with the heads being compatable what does one do to get oil to the head.. are their oil galleys that have to be tapped?

list any parts we would need.. cost is no issue.. i just want to make sure its right..

thanks guys

brian

Regarding the actual assembly of the motor, there are a few good threads around here that go into great detail describing the necessary steps.

Regarding the ECU, your best bet is indeed going to be to convert to OBD-1. But if you're intent on not doing it, a PR3 or PW0 ECU can be chipped to run the minime, or you can remap the stock one and do a one wire VTEC setup with something like a VAFC or an RPM activated switch.

And a 92 VTEC head would be from a Z6, not a Y8.
