Code 14- IACV need help ASAP, please.
Ok guys/girls, I have a 94LS swap in my 97 civic using the OBD2 engine harness, LS OBD1 ECU, and boomslang OBD2-1 harness. I have changed over the 3 plug to the 2 plug for the IACV and when I do the ECU paperclip trick I'm throwing Code 14. Now we have cleaned the IACV (both holes), did the cover hole tests for both the EVAP and IACV, checked all the vac lines and no leaks, TB and intake screws are tight, tested the IACV and it clicks so that means thats good and I am scratching my head at where to look now.
Here's the problem, the car is idling at around 1000rpm at rest and when I rev over 1500 to about 3000rpm, I am getting a rough, flucuating idle. Kinda like a vroom vroom vroom with the needle bouncing a little. And when I am just driving if it drops below 3000rpm, the car is real jerky and its like you just let off the gas.
Does anyone know where the problem lies? We have the car in the shop tonight trying to figure it out before I break down and just take it somewhere. Please help me out fellas. Thanks.

No, because I m using the ECU for that engine and connecting it with a conversion harness to the OBD 2 engine harness. Would I still need to if I'm using the ECU for the swapped engine?

On your OBD2 harness, look at ECU connector A. Tell me whatcha got in A12, A13, and A14.
Now look at the conversion harness in those same spots. Tell me whatcha got in A12, A13, and A14 on the conversion harness side.

Ok, I see what your saying. I need to switch some wires since I'm still using the OBD2 engine harness. For some reason I overlooked that since I had everything to convert the ecu and engine. I went and looked and saw A12-none, A13-orange, A14-Black/blue line on the engine harness side and on the connector side 12-wire, 13-none, and 14 wire (i believe it may have been in 15,,,was a tight fit and I didn't pull it out all the way).
So from what I found on pinouts, I need to move ECU 14 to 12 and then unplug 13? And I wouldn't need to do anything to the connector side right?
BTW, I appreciate the help EE_Chris. I was figuring it was something overlooked; thats why I came here before taking it somewhere. Again thanks.

That's all you need to do - move A14 over into A12 on your stock harness. A13 can be left alone or pulled if you wish.
Certainly welcome for the help.....thats what we're for.
