intake and turbo question
I have 91 crx hf and am having a little trouble deciding on which intake to put on it, what are you guys running on yours and what fits good. Also I have been offered a turbo off of a 91 toyota supra for only $100, do you guys know anything about these turbos and what else would I need to install it.

it might work... but you will need a lot of custom piping for it to fit your crx...

check that link out and either that... you might as well try investing in another d-series engine swap while your at it... if its speed you want... d-series engine swap would cost at least... $300-$400 for full swap... everything included like the tranny...

About $300 and alot of equipment, but to do it properly it would prolly run you $600. Budget Boost is the #1 killer of Honda engines in my area.

yea and make sure you get some kind of fuel management with that. running lean is one of the main causes of detenation because kids think they can just slap a turbo kit on a stock car and run as much boost as they want. At least get a S/VAFC and a walbro 255.
That HF motor (which I'm assuming you still have since you didn't make any mention of a swap) isn't going to take nicely to your newly added boost. That 62hp, 8-valve beast won't be able to handle much boost at all (if any
), no matter how good of tuning/fuel management you have.
I'd suggest you first upgrade to a d16a6 or at least somethign with a 16-valve head, and a throttle body larger than a golf-ball.

All honda engines in the d15 category pretty much have same top/bottom ends, so they can handle the boost. They'll just run like ****.
