Went to the track again last night to try and better my previous time of 12.19@115. Well i started off right with a 12.13 on my first run followed up by several 12.10's and a best run so far of 12.09@116. It is just too hot here to hit 11's on 12psi i guess cause i was pulling 1.71 60ft's. Im perfectly happy with my results anyway in 90 degree weather and being able to drive the car an hour to the track and an hour home plus seeing as how its my daily driver too. Im pretty confident that when we tune it to 17psi on pump gas next week that i could see some 11.7's or so at 120 and then some low 11's on race gas and 20psi.

Yes it is, well almost 11's for me, i could strip it out since it weighs 2500lbs w/o me in it but i dont really like doing that. I think it would just be better and easier to turn up the boost to hit 11's.

 

Well im going to try and have some video up later tonight for you guys. Its nothing spectacular, just a 12.0 civic but what the hell ill post it up anyways.

 

I remember when low 12 sec. daily drivers were alomost unheard of. Now that I am in the 11's (finally), I don't even feel all that special . It sure is fun though

Yeah youre right, everytime i go out and run better it feels good but by the next day or so im just like whatever. I dont know about you but ever since i have built this motor more and more people, mainly v8 cars are after me. Whats funny is i go ahead and run expecting to lose and then beating them, seeing them getting pissed off about it is hilarious especially when you tell them you drive it everyday and 25+mpg in the process.

Thanks man. I will be running it again on June 4th at the next Midnight Madness. Tunning it to 17psi on pump so i should be able to hit at least some 11.80's at 118-120mph. It almost makes me wonder if i should strip the car down as is to get into the 11's on 12psi?
