d16z6 eg hatch with dsm 14b.

problem is that it stumbles randomly between 2 and 3k rpm. idles perfect, throttle response is great, great power, great compression. i can feel it as i drive normal taking off from lights. it just stumbles a little. i can also feel it when i rev it slowly. it drives me crazy!

if i hold the throttle under 2k its fine, rev it up a little more and i feel it shake. go up higher and it smoothes out again all the way up.

anybody have any type of ideas?

think it may be from the unorthodox pulley i put on...? the stock one was destroyed and that one was cheaper

do you have a cheap crank pulley?

 

throwing any CEL's?

Could be your engine misfiring, thats what was wrong w/ my car but i was throwing two CEL's.

Problem was my spark wires.... replace your plugs too if you are going to do that.

 

no CEL. everything is brand new including plugs / wires.

 

UR crankpulley but mine isnt the race one i think it is the ultra s. i thought that couldve been the problem so i got a top speed one and still the same ****.

 

im gonna put a stock one on and see what happens

 

i was thinking about doing that, hopefully i still haev the stock belts, lol.
