4300rpm at 75mph with stock tire size. that's not so bad, is it? i wish i didn't need my car for a while; i'd pull the LS 5th out of it, but i have nothing else to drive.

That's just a bit too high for my commutes since I'm on the highway for an 1hour each way. Let me know if you're able to find an LS 5th.

as i said in the first post, first one with money gets it. i won't hold it for anybody w/o a deposit. i AM open to taking trades. almost any Honda tranny, although stuff other than hydro B won't get much discount for the trade-in. mostly i take in trannies that need parts or some love to work, not ones that are working properly. PM for details.

 

dang why is this so hard to sell? you'd think people would be tired of buying crappy trannies that grind and make funny noises! come on people, here's your ticket!

 

later today this is going on eBay if i don't have a solid buyer. i have to say, it shifts like hot butter. BTW, it's got a GSR-sized diff and ring gear, so an ITR LSD would be totally bolt-in, unlike a standard B16 tranny. i think this may be a CTR that gave away its LSD to another tranny.
first gear: 3.307
second gear: 2.105
third gear: 1.458
fourth gear: 1.107
fifth gear: 0.848
final drive gear: 4.40
open differential, large B hydro size (ITR/CTR/GSR), not small size(B16/LS)
