Crash proven frame sliders for 03-05 R6 ????
I'm looking for info on some GOOD, CRASH PROVEN frame sliders for an 03-05 R6. I've been hearing conflicting opinions on "no-cut" and "cut out" options. My GF had a "cut out" version on her 03 R6 and it did nothing but crack the head after a hard lowside at the track (bike=totaled), but I've also heard horror stories of "no cut" brackets getting out of shape and bending the frame or pushing into the motor. Plastics are easier to replace than a frame or a motor. I don't want a slider that's going to do more damage than good at ANY speed.
Personal, or "almost" personal experiences prefered. Thanks guys!

I got some shogun no cut frame sliders for 03-05 R6 for sale, they were in transit to my house when I totalled the bike.

Buy some from a respectable company, that are "cut" and bolt straight to the frame.
Buy them in a trustworthy material, a.k.a delrin, etc. Not "carbon fiber" or other ricer sliders.
If you're really worried about it, replace the hardware with a higher grade.
Problem solved!

Also.. invest in NRC engine/clutch covers. That's next on my list. Nothing like having a slider snap off when you hit gravel and grinding your cover down, ingesting rocks in your motor.

shogun no cut frame sliders held up for me during a 60 mph hi-side. u just have to mount them correctly to get the full potential of the sliders.

on the right side, the connecting arm should be placed as much on the frame as possible (see the white mark on the frame where it used to be before the crash), so the arm will help absorb the fall, if not it just might snap like how other people say no cut sliders are poop

I just tonight ordered some Graves frame sliders, and clutch slider/saver. I got some good feedback from the guys over at R6MN, several that have had graves and have had to use them.
Plus, if your looking for reputable, i dont think you can beat this http://www.gravesport.com/imag...l.wmv this is a yamaha commercial, featuring the Graves team, can also see decals on the bikes (graves).
