I have read some of the forums and I understand that the red with black stripe wires on the injetors go to the resistor box and the yellow with black strip goes to the #2 and #4 injector but what about the #1 and #3 injecotr wires?

This is a 90 civic dx with a 1990 integra motor. Wiring from carb to injection. I read the fouthgen site and its just not clean enough to me. Thanks.

The yellow/black dont go to the #2 and #4. You put the two together and it powers the injector box. The wires that go to the injectors are blue, brown, red, and yellow. Your dpfi harness will only have 2, you have to add the other 2. Then each one has a red/black wire that runs to the resistor box.

Yellow/black is 12V+. Red/black is 5.5v+
One 12 volt goes to the injector resistor box where it converts it to 5.5v+ and runs to the injectors. the opposite pin on the injector goes to the ECU which gives it 5.5v- to squirt on command.
You do not necessarily need to use both yellow/black wires at the injector resistor box as they both provide the same function, 12v+

So which wire is the 12+ volt that goes into the resistor box? Where does it come from?And there are two wires on each of the old injectors, right? What do I do with the second wire(just leave it there)?

 

You need a yel/blk wire leading into the inj box for 12v+ pick one from the old injector setup.

fyi, the yel/blk comes from the main relay
