I've got a 94 GSR with about 130K on it and everything has been running fine but the tranny. Every once and a while it will be really hard to put it into reverse, like I have to force it in, and then I have to force it out. The same thing happens trying to get into and out of 1st gear. Getting into every other gear is business as usual. It started doing this about a week ago and happens every 2-3 days and I do drive about 40 miles a day.

Any idea what this might be?

 

before putting in reverse, put it in 4th or 1st and then go to reverse. Should make it easier.

 

throw it in 2nd then back to 1st...if anything try not to force n grind yer gears, rev match em before throwing into gear. what can probably help is some honda MTF. hope that helps. .....btw ur local, what i mean is local down the street...PM me
