Story. I just bought a 91 integra with a jdm b16(pr3). Drove it and noticed that it dies down or pauses if i keep the rpm steady. When i press the gas it seems to drive fine. So I figured that i would change the plug. When I pulled the plugs out i noticed that all except plug 1 had oil on it. Now this car also has an oil leak around the head gasket on the passenger side. After putting in the Iridium denso plugs in, the car sputter and seems like it was about to cut off. When i got home i checked the plugs to see if they where drowned in oil again, but there where fine. What could the problem be. I took the car back out 30 minutes later and it seem fine. It sputtered once or twice but that was it.

Take it and get a leak down test.

with oil on the plugs it sounds like bad news. did you gap the plugs properly?

 

nah. it drives fine now. I think it will hold up for a few months. I have a ls engine at my freinds. Im about to be ls/vtec.
