Before and after tuning? I'm talking about a mild port and polish.

I hope Mike K see's this post he can tell you some exact numbers on TopSpeed Heads. Maybe he will post up Chris's Dyno.

But from what I remember Chris went from 183whp to 188whp, and made from 8-10 in the midrange, from VTEC x-over up made alot more power than a stock Head.

Sorry for the bad quality graph.

You can see there is no power loss at ALL in any rpm range.

Head is ported and polished by Topspeed, guides cut down and matched to port shape, ITR intake valves, .5mm over Endyn exhaust valves(flatheads), five-angle valve job, polished chambers. CC's were 42.7 before, 41.7 afterwards.. so it was ALMOST 1 full point in compression increase as well...

This was a ITR motor w/ Fields SFC-VTEC, GReddy exhaust, stock header, AEM intake, 01 spec ITR cams, cam gears. You can see after the ported head, VTEC transition was brought down to 4600-4700 and it picked up fat midrange.

I'll have a dyno soon of an ITR motor w/ JUN 2's that's switching to a Topspeed head and Hondata. Should be pretty...

How much $$$$ does such P&P cost, for instance?

How is Topspeed's quality of work & pricing compared to those companies such as Portflow, DPR, Endyn?

TopSpeed's heads are top notch, I am having alot of work done to my head, and I have researched every HeadPorting Company, and I think TopSpeed does the best work, for the best price.

Ask Mike K, he has had a PortFlow head, Endyn Head, and Topspeed head, ask him whats on his ITR now.

call TopSpeed at 941.514.7008, and ask for josh

Topspeed is awesome. Pricing is reasonable too.

Even on a mild motor, you can't go wrong.

Josh @ Topspeed doesn't have a flow bench.. he just ports a head how he sees fit.

All of them have worked well so far.

Do the prices include disassembling and reassembling the head?

I don't have any complaints with Endyn or Portflow.

Two reasons I use Topspeed...

1- Local. They are 10 minutes up the road.
2- Friends. I get good deals there, and it won't take 4-6 weeks.

Endyn and Portflow both have high quality headwork, but I'm just gonna use Topspeed..

Ok, but which gives the most gains? (area under the curve...?)

On mild and wild motors?

Which is most reasonably priced?

Does one port job give only top end gains and maybe losses in the low/ mid? Or vice versa?

Comptech does it for around 700, I think DPR's stage VI is like 1200 or so... That includes disassembly and reassembly of the head. I don't know the specifics...
