well, compression test dont really tell you all that much.since altitude, temp, comp. tester are all variables and will yield different readings.
What compression are you running?
whats important is to look for the #'s to be even.
Leak down test is the best way.
pretty basic explanation; you inject air in the compustion chamber with the piston at TDC; the gauge will tell you how much of that air is leaking out.
then you hear or see where it comes from.
exhaust, intake, valve cover breather, radiator

b20b or b20z? 180 is like perfect on point for the b20b, and since the static compressionn on the b20z is a little more, then 180 would be a tad bit low. remember that consistancy is just as important as the # itself
