Default My Insurance Experience (Farmers)

As some of you know, my Honda CBR 954RR was stolen last month. I was fully covered by Farmers Insurance whom I signed up with thru a local broker. They have always been the company with the best rates and coverage for me (some companies couldn't come CLOSE even with a higher deductible) and I have continued my coverage with them regardless of which bike I owned. Beforehand, I personally never knew anyone who had made a motorcycle claim thru Farmers. I was very skeptical and worried that I was sacrificing good service for a better premium. My doubts were definately put to rest after my ordeal. Everything was taken care of promptly, and the estimated value of my bike was more than fair. They didn't even hassle me about my accessories (which I provided receipts for) and covered every little nic-nac down to the frame sliders. I'm glad that my claim didn't turn out like many whom I heard had to put up a fight just to get a fair amount for their loss. Just thought I would share my experience.

to Farmers

I really miss my 954, but I don't see me getting another bike any time soon (unless I find a beater for dirt cheap).

Thats good to hear man, I work for Nationwide Insurance (systems analyst) which owns Farmers Insurance. Good thing to hear we treat our customers well.
