I ordered some dropzone struts for my 00 civic coupe. I notice they don't have the nut welded into the bottom of the strut like my oem ones. How am i sappose to use um?

You could try taking ur strut bolt to a hardware store and look for a nut that will fit. That could work. And instead of welding the bolt, u can use 2 wrenches and just bolt it together.

Ok thanks thats what i was thinking but i was also thinking that the nutt was welded onto the factory struts for safety reasons.

just make sure you get a LOCK nut on there. Its the nuts with a nylon insert in em so they dont back out on their own.

Put thread lock on the bolt before you put on the nut..that will help. Then once its all bolted up, go to a shop and get the bolts welded on..prolly get it done for cheap since theres like no skill recquired to weld a nut haha. But yeah, its probably welded stock for a reason.

once you get those on, let us know how they ride. you seem to be the only person to actually pick up them up everyone else seems to bash on them or heard stories about how terrible they were and what not.

also whats springs are you running?
