Stripped struts
Damn, tried to put on a strut bar today in front and the nuts that need to come off to put this on are stripped, not rounded, strippped. I turned one for about 5 min. and it spun and spun, but didnt move up or down like it should have. How can I get these off? Bolt Cracker? Air Hammer?
Thanks

Re: (turbotime)
Are you talking about the bolt on TOP of the strut, or the two on the side? The bolt on TOP of the strut wont come off because the whole thing spins. You need to use an allen wrench to hold the center steady so it doesn't spin and then take the nut off. Alot of times, the allen wrench will strip so your best bet is hit it with an impact.
