swap question ls vtec in EG
the other day i finally got the ls vtec swapped in my EG.. when i first fired it up it would turn over and fire.. but all of a sudden die.. unless i give gas..does anyone know whats going on? could it be the fuel rail? because we checked it and on the end where thers a knobby type bolt that goes on it theres a screw where thers a hole on the tip of the screw.. but on my SOHC the the hole is on the side of the screw.. could that possibly be the problem? also would it help if i use my p28 instead of the stock dx one?i dunno if this made sense.. but anything helps
you are using a DX ecu on an LS/VTEC? holy crap... swap that thing in asap... you're starving that motor of fuel...
also, try pulling your plugs, look at what color they are... garentee they're bright white... what injectors did you use? if you used some DX injectors, those are usless... put some B series ones in, or at least some SOHC VTEC ones
