Alright I'm throwing a 43 randomly, and running shitty when car warms up so I'm changing the 02 Sensor.

My question is should I just buy an O2 Sensor from Autozone or whatever, or would I want to go somewhere else.

Are there bad vs. good 02 Sensors? Just never boughten a new one so making sure I get what I want. Any advice on what to buy or where to buy is appreciated.

 

Don't go aftermarket, stick to Denso units.

i went to autozone and bought a universal POS... wired it up, and it worked great...

I'd go with the direct replacement Denso unit. I, too, have used the Autozone universal replacement. Having to wire it up and only save around $25 over the OEM unit is not worth it. Buy a plug and play O2 sensor and be done with it. Is the code you're throwing for the primary or secondary O2 sensor?

Yes 43 is Fuel Supply System. Everyone else seems to solve with new O2 Sensor.

Plus I'm only running shitty when my car is warm, right at startup everything is good.

 

Most aftermarket units need to be wired in, then, break down over time even sooner. Plus, gas mileage is different from an O.E. unit.

 

I've gotten a code 43 as well, but I got it after I wired in a new o2 sensor. Car still really really boggy. Anyone got a clue?

Autozone wanted $250 for OEM, and $79 for Universal. Looks like I'll be ordering I guess.

I remember people always talking about getting new ones for like $30. What ever happened to that?

 

check your intake air temp sensor.

mine had a break in the wiring harness, wasn't getting the 5 volts to one side of the plug, should be a red/yellow going to pin d15 in an eg. the other side is green, the same ground that goes to the map, tps, etc.
