Default The final chapter in my ED6 project

before:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1147857

after:

Highway speed. Merge lane. Nasty weather -- tons of accidents on the road that night. Rear end came out. Caught some bad road surface with the back end. Hit a light pole. Flipped over. Slid on the roof for quite awhile.

I sure will miss the little guy. He didn't deserve it... he was such a pleasant, well-sorted, reliable little car with so much character.

Looks like all of the mods shouldl be salvageable. Perhaps one day there will be a sequel.

:-( :-( :-( :-(

x2, after its all said and done...it's just a car, you'll have another great project one day.

One month after I sold my first pride and joy (00 Civic), the body shop called my shop looking for me. The owner wrapped it around a pole, and wanted us to help repair it. When it got here on the flat bed I damn near had a tear form in my eye...so I feel your pain

Now that's DIY at it's best!
Most people take it to a shop to have work like that done!
They pay thousands to have their car chopped to lower the roof line and fender flares or widebody to make the wheels stick out.
You are MOST hardcore!

(I guess you are in good physical shape and it's not much of a financial strain to see the car go or I wouldn't be joking about it.)

Damn!!! Sad to see what happened to the hatch, especially after all the work you put into it.

I hope you didnt have a passenger with you because it looks like they would have killer headache.

Thank god you're ok. Hopefully insurance will kinda help to get you a new project.
