There are two sizes offeres as far as I know, a smaller version for the 1.6L motor and a "larger" for the 1.8.

Also, ask in the forced induction forum.

Here's a start:

well if you think about it whatever the output of the S/C is what its going to force into the motor...that is all determined by the volume of air the S/C can compress (cannot change) to the size pulley that is on it (ie 6 lb pulley). The only difference...correct me if im wrong...is the actual design of how the S/C will bolt up to the block.

the block shouldnt matter. All superchargers I have seen mount to the head .The JRSC replaces the intake manifold.
So yes it will work

it used to be the same setup for either car, just a different pully size.. i doubt they changed that..

i had to get a new belt for the supercharger to the alternator pulley, but i was able to retain the alternator to the crank pulley. and i guess thats because of the amount of adjustment in the lower tensioner.

The superchargers between the B16 and the B18c5 are practically identical. Someone mentioned belts being different sizes, so i guess you could say that is one of the only differences... but other than that it will bolt right up. The superchargers themselves are exactly the same (M62 model). There was a different one for the single overhead cam d16, which was the M42 model... which just moved less air. I bought my supercharger used from a guy who had his on his 00' SI and it bolted right up to my c5. I didn't get the belts with mine, because the previous owner tore them when removing, so I had to find those the hard way, and wouldnt know if the belts included needed to be changed or not.

Why not call Jackson Racing and ask what the difference between the kits is? Straight from the horse's mouth.......

Kits are similar...however, you will need the upgraded fual pump. There are also a few different fittings you will need to order for the manifold. You will also need to buy the throttle cable assembly from Jackson. You can actaully use the smaller pulley that the SI blower comes with, as it will give you more boost.

I have an SI kit that I bought all the components to make it work for the R.
