Default might be buying a 02 f4i...help!

i don't know much about the f4is but does anyone know about hp and tq ratings. and what magazines tested it running in the 1/4 and trap speed. a friend of mine was thinking the f4i is like the yzf-600 for yamaha. the lower end/almost full sport bike type deal. the one i'm looking at also has 3200 miles on it and rash on lower left and right fairings. and on the i think crank case. wanting 4200 firm. or

That's a decent price, considering the damage. I would say

I don't know if the F4i is ~ to the YZF600. The YZF600 was the perenial runner up (or third, behind the ZX6R) compared to the CBR F3. The F4i was Honda's top-spec supersport 600 for a few years until the 600RR was introduced.

mmmm. i also have a race with a friend. with an 04 cobra. who i beat with my f3 from an odd race. but he was 98% stock. now he's trapping at 120. with more mods to come. and we are going to go from a dig and a roll. and i know some of yall think straight line is stupid. but it's still fun.

if you want to strait line race (to each their own) id look into a 750 or 1000. most people enjoy the 600s (including myself) for their nimbleness and to snap them around corners, but they get eaten alive by the bigger bikes... if you are really into the strait stuff id ditch the 600 and go strait to a litre bike.

either way, beatin a stock 04 cobra must be pretty sweet

'02 F4i was a competitor for the R6 when it was new. Honda doesn't really have a sport tourer that I can think of. Even an '05 F4i is still more track ready than a YZF600r.
