Help getting dizzy harness plugs apart

i need help getting the dizzy wire harness apart. i tried everything from vicegrips, it just wont budge! wtf?!

some plugs you press and some other plugs you lift the clip. Some need to be pushed down and pulled up at the same time while you pull. make any sense?
