In all honesty, no one can give you a definitive answer, the only way to be positive is to clay, That being said, I wouldnt do anything much more aggressive than a type r cam on a b20 without having the slugs notched a bit for bigger cams
im not sure but a b20 with a gsr head has a rating of 9.2 cr and i dont really think your going to have a problem unless the head has been milled to **** and your running some gigantic cams. BUT CLAY in any case of doubt.

u need to open up the valve reliefs on stock pistons. no matter what cam even stock cams the valves are gonna hit the pistons cuz the valve reliefs aren't big enough.

Has anybody ever weighed there pistons once they cut their valve reliefs? i would take extra precaution when doing this, because if you take to much off one piston you can throw your rotating assembly off balance.
Yes indeed, so for all those who aren't really sure... just get cheap pistons, SRP, etc. $300 new or look in the classified section, there's always good stuff for cheap. B20 rods will definitely hold, so all you need are pistons to be safe.
