Ok first of all i have searched and read lots about this so dont hate. Im finishing my lsvtec the pcv valve and box thing or on the back of the ls. so it an ls box. i have a gsr head with the pcv valve from the gsr still connected. The problem is that i cant get the pcv valve back into the box ive tried for like an hour and it wont go in. i used some wd40 little oil some lubes i had 2 other valves and tried them to, to see if there could be a difference in size. none of them will go back into the hole. can someone tell me a trick to getting it back in. like i said i read on how to remove and install and all it says is add a little lube of some sort to let it slide in easier but this thing will not go in.

 

not sure if you tried it or not, but try the LS

 

i dont think the valve goes directly into the box... there's a bit of hose/fitting that goes in between

 

Yea on both my motors there is a little hose that goes on there and that plugs into the PCV. My motors are a B16A and a B18C5... this may be different on an LS but i doubt it.

 

if your talkin about what i think you are this peice goes around the valve and in the box? because there is a rubbery thing that is in the whole already and might be whats not letting it go in. so are you say take it out put the rubber peice of pcv valve together then put it in the box?
