Default omni test pipe?

Did any of you have to weld or clamp the joints on your test pipes? The one I recieved has a tight fight on one joint, but the other the bell end is expanded to much. I contacted Omni, and there saying it should be welded or clamped. I don't recall anyone ever posting that they had to weld or clamp the joints.

most cars don't need to be welded but depending on your header and exhaust set up. is a good idea to get it welded.

Mine is was pretty snug when I installed it, so I didn't use any clamps. I don't hear/notice any leaks so far...

Man...I would never buy a premade testpipe. Just go to any exhaust shop and have them fab up a custom perfect fitting one for 1/2 the price
