Default mini me problems!

I just swapped a y8 head on my a6 block. i kept the a6 intake manifold, and exhaust manifold on as well. it has a chipped pm6 for 1 wire vtec, and z6 fuel maps. when im driving the car runs fine, but when i put in neutral and coast to a stop....it dies. it will start right back up, but it does it everytime i stop. i can give it gas right when its about to die and it wont cut off. any idea why this is happening?

ive switched dizzys with my friend and its still doing it, so i dont think its that. we have also checked the timing and its good too. any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance guys

does it idle when you start it? if it doesn't idle at all, adjust your idle screw

start your car and push on the brakes a few times. since it only happens when your stopping (aka braking) maybe something to do with the brake booster?
see if you can make it die by pressing on the brakes a few times or holding them down

i got someone on dragva to chip an ecu for me with z6 fuel maps, and 1 wire vtec. i just run 1 wire from an empty spot on one of the ecu plugs to the vtec solenoid. vtec kicks in at 4800rpm.

when i let it idle and push the brakes, the idle goes up a little bit then back to normal. any more ideas?

Oddly enough I had this same problem when I did my swap.. then it just "went away".

I know that doesn't help right now but maybe it puts some light of hope at the end of the tunnel

there is no light!!!! my car wont start now! i have an aem short ram intake and i think it was touching the positive battery cable, so i wrapped electrical tape around the part that was touching it, and it started right up. then i went to the store and it kept dieing! now it wont start and every time i tried to start it, it sounded weaker and weaker..... im gettin tired of messin with it!

jump it see if that starts it, you should adjust the idle screw maybe when its cold it idles high enough to stay on and when you warm the car up it comes down to op temp and the idle is to low to keep the car on... just a thought

its gatta be vacuume
