Default To the R owners who want to trade in for solid bux...

If you are in jersey, or close to jersey, there is a dealer that is offering very decent trade in on my R, which I dont want to trade (just wanted to drive the S2k again )

With 36k, f-ed up back bumper, door dings, keyed front bumper- they already offered 17.5 trade in, left me a message this morning telling me they would give me MORE. I am surprised as other dealers (including a honda dealer) offered 13 or less.

Now 17.5k may seem lowish, but consider the tax you will also save on the trade (@ 1200 on the S2k I believe)

Just a heads up!

Madison Honda They know all about da hype R!!

That is the best trade in value I've seen so far.

Is it Bridgewater Acura? They like to sell them for $23,000 used.

Madison Honda

read read read!!!

yeah its a solid offer, i will call them and find out exactly how much they will give me and post it back up. it makes me wish i had 10k to actually make something happen..

btw so far they offered 17.5k trade in, and the s2k for 30,500. Without me negotiating, just saying "I will sell the R elsewhere and come back later"

the trade in isnt really worth it to me right now tho, but i wanted to let you all know.

I called, the lady didnt know what she was talking about. Im pretty sure the sales manager guy i talked to just told her to be sure to call me and act nice and throw in that "we will give you more money" line. He was fiending for the R like i never seen before.

Good luck to the Type R traitors!! (i mean traders)

dam gary....that r has held its value well....idk tho...the s2k is hot...but i dont htink i would trade in your type or or my gsr for it....parts are so expensive....winter...dont even wanna go there...it just doesnt seem that practical

oh and about the post before about bridgewater acura

i personally know mike lasko...the internet manager...all their cars are top notch that they get in there...and he is a great guy...and has a sick nsx! my buddy got his type r from them...it had the jdm front and a spoon carbon lip on it...the lip was cracked at the time of purchase...and mike lasko and the dealership replaced the lip!

gary..if you do trade it in...let me know...well do some little things here and there that a dealership wouldnt notice
