Are you running one with ABS or without? With the abs version its slightly harder. Its not hard to make a box. Get some thin sheet metal > bend and cut to the size you need > rivet box togehter > add some foam around the top so the box touches the hood when shut.

Do you think it's possible to keep the resonator piping and fab up a box that uses that resonator piping to the bottom of the intake filter? BTW it is the ABS version

I was suppose to build one last weekend but I got busy. Perhaps I'll do one this weekend and post it up for all to see

or cut out your passenger high beam and put a velocity stack there
then get some HID's so you wont need the high beams anymore anyways

Custom designing and fabricating one to the masses is a sure money maker....

I was thinking about an aluminum box covering only the filter with a rubber ring that goes around the intake tubing and is open on the bottom of the box and covered on all other sides. Any of you see a problem with this?

I bought (i'm embarressed to say) an APC heat shield....BUT its the only one that i found that shields 75% of the filter and the back of it in enclosed unlike those POS shields you see on ebay. I have the open section facing towards the radiator and i know that when the fan is on, hot air is directed towards the filter, but turning the shield to block that air also blocks air from my cold air feed.
