A-Sports Front Support Bars (install pics)
Though you guys might like this. It is on my EK, but I know you ITR guys love the "Cool Sh*t"!!!
Driving Impressions: Well the front does feel much stiffer in the corners. I don't have much done to my EK right now but I could definately feel the difference.
I got them from Yasu at Racing Craft.

it would be pretty tough the explain the different feel of that, its prob no that noticeable and will prolly only feel the diffence on the track, and that's if you know your car like the back ofyour hand
in short, just get it dennis, it looks jdm

Nice
... I have had a set on my CR-X for about 2 weeks now na d the difference is Night & Day especially for an older car like mine ...I did notice one major thing though ...it got rid of a lot of wheel hop..
and steering responce has gone way up also..Good bang for the buck item IMO.

Just a follow up...
Here is the setup:
The car is a stock '96 Civic hatch. All the car has is a Comptech rear sway. No aftermarket anything. Basically everything listed in my profile is sitting at my house or in my friends shop.
I installed the front support bars to test fit them for Yasu at Racing Craft. Also it was to determine whether they are worth the cost.
Results:
The front of the car feels much more planted. I have no front swaybar installed at this time, but the car feels connected similiar to that if I did. Also the steering is stiffer not sloppy like the previous stock setup. (I don't have power steering)
It is hard to tell whether these changes will help on the track or not. Once I finish the motor/suspension conversion then I will pull off these support bars and do a back to back test.

Looks good. Now you need some plexiglass fenders so you can show them off
I see where two of the mounting points are on the door hinges, but where does the third point bolt to? Did you drill a hole or is there something there to bolt it to?

I already got a lot of stuff to be installed once the weather get back to 50s(at least)..but still, before I sleep, I wonder what mods I can do to my R..
(think of it as Valentine's day gift to my R)..
Who are A-Sports? Are they American or what? Cheers!
Reatil in Japan for these supports are arounf 19000 Yen..
I'm sorry but I don't know who Yasu is. Anybody got his contact info.

A final note!!!
I spoke with Yasu at Racing Craft and he is not selling them at this time. He gave me a set to test fit on my EK. But they will be available shortly!
These front support bars are manufactured by Nagisa Auto and are being distributed through J's Racing in which RacingCraft (Yasu) is the US Distributor for.
Both J's Racing and Advance Sports are distributing the same Nagisa front support bars.

For those who are wondering where the mounting points are here is a pic...

I remember a thread a while ago that some people were skeptical about this brace. I can say that this brace IS effective, not from personal experience, but from the rally cars that I've seen.
I'm not sure if the street EVOs or STis come with this tho.

I actually have them install now.I will have the ones to fit the DC-2 soon.
They have chrome finish and this support bar is made out of steel. Finishing is quite bad cuz they have little rust on the chrome edges so the ones I am selling , I painted in black so it will not get rusted.
